Gray World

Where is the love, my love?

You brought me  down slowly,

painful it was, I was done!

Like an empty bottle, nothing holy.

Can’t feel my pulse, you left me,

your eyes are gone, they were the bread.

I flourished, every time you touched me

a shadow is now left, mournful and sad.

The world is gray, though the rainbow.

Only dust before me, inside is stone

cold and icy, blood isn’t wine, but a slow

poison, ever since your breath has gone.

Love is what I found and lost,

there is no going back, I’m devastated.

Like a dessert, no oasis, but one ghost

whose heart once lived, now is buried.

Still missing you...
